1933 VITROHM was founded as a Danish-German company. 1954 the “Deutsche VITROHM GmbH” was founded in Germany. 1996 VITROHM was acquired by Yageo Corporation, Taiwan. 2004 VITROHM became a separated business unit within the Yageo Group with production, customer service and logistics in Portugal and sales and marketing in Elmshorn, Germany.

VITROHM became a specialist for wirewound resistors and Europe’s largest manufacturer of power resistors.
