In 1946 the company`s founder, Carl Linz, concentrated squarely on fuses. Because SIBA takes nearness to their customers seriously, they established a presence throughout the world – like a global player. To ensure close contact with customers, SIBA maintain a network of subsidiaries and sales partners in countries on all continents throughout the world. SIBAs main place of business is, however, in Germany: Their production plant is located in the town of Lünen. In 1990 SIBA took over the Dortmund-based ELU, Germany, and thereby strengthened its market position.
