1984 Joyin has begun to design, manufacture and distribute machines for the fabrication of ceramics used in electronics. Together with Philips Corp. Joyin worked on a project to produce medium and low voltage disc capacitors. After the technical development of the components needed to produce ceramic varistors was completed, too, the Electronic Component Division was established in 1993.
